Founded in 2019 by Rémi Le Druillenec and Quentin Obadia, Héroïne has been on a quest to conquer the retail and luxury industry. After publishing their first book, trademarking their design methodology and starting the "Power Couple" podcat, Héroïne initiated a series of collaborations and launches that embarked the agency in an expansive growth. Hermès, Amouage, Cartier, Chanel, Clarins, Kering, L'Oréal, Dolce & Gabbana, Hugo Boss, Vichy and Typology are examples of brands that entrusted the duo to design and craft tailored offline experiences for their flagship stores and events.
We started off with a 2-hour kickoff workshop meant to clarify the positioning and start co-creating a brand narrative with the two founders. Based on our in-house branding method, together we wrote a story and imagined a set of characters and symbols. This served as a basis for the artistic direction we then deployed.
After a series UX and SEO back and forths to approve the website's sitemap and content architecture, we got to work and designed a all pages. To accompany the homepage's temple, we designed 3 soundscapes for Héroïne to choose from, as well as a series of sound effects to go with the interactions on the hero's 3D shapes. We added some WebGl distortion and GSAP parallax effects to make the whole experience more dynamic and...voilà! Héroïne's online temple of experiences was born.
